More reasons why Web Developers should switch to Chrome
Great post by Elijah Manor (thanks to John Mueller for sharing) on Google Chrome tips that web developers might not know. I hadn’t realised Chrome was so powerful. I made the switch from Firefox to Chrome quite a few months back and I am loving it. These tips make it even better.
I’m still frustrated that I can’t switch off Javascript for testing in Chrome (this means the Web Developers tool bar isn’t quite as good as it’s Firefox version), but I suppose I’ll live with that, unless Elijah Manor knows how to do that? I have a feeling that Javascript on/off toggling isn’t enabled in the Chrome API yet. Google Chrome is that something we can expect soon?

When hacking away on a website & on Chrome extensions, these tips have been a fantastic help. Who knew you could modify JavaScript on the fly in Chrome? How about pretty-printing minified JavaScript? or – how awesome is this! – being able to add break-points based on when something modifies parts of a page’s DOM? #chromerocks
