Alton Towers to take down the log flume?

I hope this isn’t true, but it’s highly likely Alton Towers will take down the Log Flume to make way for a new rollercoaster chose named Secret Weapon. Although I’m really looking forward to what looks like an amazing ride (not that we know much about it), I’d be so sad to see the log flume go. I just about remember it being built back in 1981 when I was 6, and remember them extending it. It’s celebrating it’s thirtieth anniversary this year.

What are your thoughts?
