G+ user numbers
OK, the post from Larry Page saying that G+ now has over 10 Million users is kind of impressive, especially since it’s only been semi-public for a week or two: https://plus.google.com/106189723444098348646/posts/dRtqKJCbpZ7
However, I’m unconvinced this rapid increase in numbers is going to continue at the same rate. Don’t get me wrong, I love G+ and I’m sold on it. However, I’ve been quite disheartned by many of my Twitter and Facebook friends who just aren’t interested or just don’t want to maintain multiple social media accounts.
I can hardly blame them, but it is a little depressing. However, the same can be said for Twitter. Most of the people I follow on Twitter aren’t people I know personally, and I suppose the same is the case of G+. Except it would be good to add more of my friends to my friends circle.
Some friends have commented that it will only be a matter of time before Facebook releases their own version of Circles, and that their video chat will allow more than 2 at a time
I’m interested in how other people are getting on with their friends? Having a hard time convincing people to move over or at least try the big G+? Do share!
