Authorship still not showing regularly for me
I’ve been frustrated about this for a while, but had the time to look closer at it. It was an update by Mark Traphagen about second class authorship going that made me think again.
As far as I know, my blog and my articles at http://iag.me/ are all set up correctly.
I have a rel=”author” to my G+ profile and a link rel=”publisher” to my G+ page.
At this stage I am less concerned about my G+ page because I’m concentrating on my profile.
If you search for my name (“Ian Anderson Gray”) in Google one of the results is my website, iag.me, but it doesn’t show my image. If you type in “Hootsuite Review”, the top one is an article I wrote on Hootsuite called “7 Reasons NOT to use Hootsuite” and that doesn’t have my image. The same for “11 must have cloud services business”.
Whenever I have a G+ post and it appears in search results, my image appears, but not if it is on my website.
Any ideas on how I can fix this, or is this just Google?
