Can you help me with these LinkedIn questions?
I’m using LinkedIn fairly well, but there are some frustrations- particularly with the home stream.
1) Can I filter my home stream to show specific updates (for example just updates or just profile updates)?
2) How do I see the latest updates of a specific connection? I can’t seem to filter on the home stream, and their updates don’t appear on their profile- just their posts…
3) What is the “posts” section on LinkedIn profiles? I assume these are posts written using LinkedIn publisher? Are these the ones that end up in LinkedIn Pulse?
4) Can I find out more info on my followers? I assume these are people who have followed me on LI Pulse? Do I not get notified when I get a new follower?
5) How do I get the link for a LinkedIn status update (either one of mine or someone else’s)?
6) Is there a way to see who has shared a blog post of mine (or someone else) on LinkedIn? It’s easy on Twitter, but not on LinkedIn. Apparently this used to be possible when LI Signal was around, but that’s no more.
I’d love to ping my fave LinkedIn people Petra Fisher, Sarah Santacroce and Lori Ruff. I know you guys are busy, but if you (or anyone else) could help me a little that would be awesome. I’m writing a blog post on some of this stuff and will mention you big time in it! 🙂
