Not sure how accurate this article is, but it does annoy and frustrate me how much big internet companies seem to think it’s ok to own the data that we upload. I suppose it just goes to show that we should be paying more attention to those pesky Ts&Cs, but how many of us actually read all of those? I know Google+ is much more open, but perhaps the only way is to use Diaspora or just switch off, go off the grid and live as a hermit in one of the few underpopulated parts of the world…
