How to Repurpose Your Live Videos into an Arsenal of New Content
My friend Amy Woods from Content 10X has written an amazing mega article on how to turn your live videos into a plethora of new content.
Have you ever had this experience with live video?
You spend ages setting things up – thinking about what you’re going to say… getting your gear in place (your computer, smartphone, lights, microphone etc) and then you go live.
It all goes well, but after you hit that “end broadcast” button that’s it?
Even if you don’t spend any time setting things up or thinking about it, it seems an awful lot of effort for a disposable piece of content.
But it doesn’t have to stop there. In fact it shouldn’t stop there!
I’ve always been a great believer in converting live content into a piece of evergreen content. And then through repurposing, into a plethora of other types of content.
I love blogging and totally see its power. My life has changed through blogging. But each article takes days and days of work. One great thing about live video is that once you’ve set up the tech, it’s a much easier and far quicker way to create content!
You can share 3-5 points in a live video, and then afterwards, convert it into a blog… or a YouTube video, Infographic, Slideshare, Instagram story and so much more.
