Is this how you get people to see your Facebook posts?
I love this infographic- very funny and encapsulates what most people think about Facebook marketing. It is definitely the perception, but is it true? Certainly the likes of Jon Loomer, Mike Allton and James Scherer will disagree with that perception.
I definitely recommend readying Facebook Rehab: Recovering from Addiction by James Scherer which tries (and my view very successfully) to move you the process of understanding of how Facebook ads can work.
Jon Loomer is definitely the top Facebook advertising nerd and you should check out his blog at http://jonloomer.com/ – he is getting Facebook working for him seriously! I’ve learnt a lot from him, in particular Facebook Custom Website Audiences. I certainly see the power and have had some limited success with this.
However, I have to say, no platform gives the same amount of engagement as Google+. The community here is fantastic- and you don’t have to pay for it!
