New Google+ Feature- Search
It’s been frustrating that Google+ has lacked a proper search feature. True, we’ve been able to search for people, but not content. It’s now possible to search the Google+ archives which includes posts, sparks and people. Be warned though, this includes all the (public) stuff you’ve posted on G+ since you signed up (which could go as far back as July!)
Of course, this was to be expected, Google have just launched their G+ API (or at least the start of it) and their search facility is basically based on that.
You can use the search box in G+ to search for a term or terms, but you can equally just form the url yourself. It’s really easy- just type https://plus.google.com/s/ followed by the search phrase. For example if you want to search for peanuts: https://plus.google.com/s/peanuts
Of course, this being Google, the search functionality is pretty awesome. You can use the OR operator to search for one keyword OR another. And you can save your search for later.
Anyway, here is a cool post by Louis Gray which shows what stuff you can do…
