Top 10 Features Users want from Google+ Brand Pages
So it’s only been a few days since Google+ released Google+ business pages, but it’s still long enough for there to be a post on missing features.
This post on Mashable by Christine Erickson lists 10 features that users want from G+ pages.
Circle Adding–
Although from a page point of view the feature of not being able to add people who haven’t added you is a huge pain, I think it is the only way. All too commonly on Twitter, brands and businesses follow people just to get them to follow you.
My fave features–
I definitely want- — Google Places integration,
— Multiple admin management,
— Management on the G+ mobile app (Punit Soni any ideas if that is coming soon?)
— Google Analytics would also be super cool!
Also a kind of sub-page feature for different locations, departments and areas would be useful.
— There is the whole vanity URL thing, but actually I am not so sure about that one!
Early Days- give feedback!
It’s early days for G+ for businesses, so give them a chance. However, they’ll be sure to add loads of new features over the coming days, weeks and months- that’s what the experience when Google+ first opened their gates. So, click on that Send Feedback button on the bottom right of your browser window. Google+ Your Business will be listening, that’s for sure. Also the likes of Louis Gray is a good guy to share your thoughts with.
