What does success look like as a Christian Business person?
How do you define success? There’s always going to be tension between the world view of success and the success of a follower of Christ? It’s not wrong to want a business to be successful in terms of growing- but what should the ultimate aim be?
These are questions I am currently wrestling with and I’d love to know what you all think, and how you interpret what the bible says on the subject.
I’m currently looking at what I want to focus on:
– Enjoying God
– Enjoying my wife and family
– Blessing others through my gifts
There are goals I’d like to achieve personally and in my business, but I am trying (and it’s hard) to make sure that these goals are pointing to the above three focus points. I’m still working this all out, but I’d be interested in what you all think?
What are your goals? What do you define as success?
Is it ok to be “ruthless” as a business person? Is business just “business”?
