Do any of you pay for LinkedIn? Apparently 99% of users aren’t even using the free features!
According to Sarah Santacroce 99% of people are not using LinkedIn’s free features. I am not surprised. A worryingly large proportion of LinkedIn users think it is still primarily a way of hosting your CV online.
I’ve had a LinkedIn account since 2004- that’s 10 years ago. However I’ve only really started getting into LinkedIn over a year ago. I can tell you, a lot has changed since then.
There isn’t much point in paying for a premium account if you’re not going to make use of LinkedIn’s free offerings. I even found that some facilities that were available on the free account weren’t available on the paid accounts. Madness! (you can read more about that here- http://iag.me/socialmedia/linkedin-whos-viewed-updates-missing/ – let me know what you think!)
